Posted 10/26/17: Last Tuesday night was the first round of Section 2AAA playoffs.  Our Fire traveled to Belle Plaine to play the Tigers.

The Fire played with much passion but lost 14-21.  Tuesday was the final game of the 2017 season.

We would like to say thanks to our seniors for their effort and great leadership.  Also, thank you parents, alumni, and fans for your continued support of our program.  On Fire!

Posted 10/21/17: Last Wednesday night the Holy Family Fire football team hosted the Annandale Cardinals on Senior Night. 

The team came out with Fire, defeating the Cardinals 45-39.  The Fire finished the regular season 4-4.

Thank you parents and fans that came out to cheer on our players and bid the Seniors farewell.

Tuesday night is the first game of the playoffs, and the Fire travel to Belle Plaine to play the Tigers.  We will see you there.  Go Fire!

Posted 10/16/17: Last Friday night the Holy Family Fire played the Chargers of Dassel-Cokato.

The Fire played hard but could not defeat the Chargers and lost 26-0.

Thank you to the parents and fans that traveled to Cokato to cheer on our team.

Wednesday night’s game is Senior Night while the Fire host the Annandale Cardinals.  We will see you on Wednesday night.  Go Fire!

Posted 10/9/17: Last Friday night the Holy Family Fire football team traveled to St. Cloud State University to take on the St. Cloud Cathedral Crusaders.

The Fire suffered a heartbreaking loss to the Crusaders 19-20.

Thank you parents and fans that came to St. Cloud to cheer on our players.

Next week the Fire travel to Dassel-Cokato High School (located in Cokato), and are looking to bounce back against the Chargers.  We will see you on Friday night.  Go Fire!

Posted 10/2/17: Last Friday night the Holy Family Fire football team played host to the Glencoe-Sliver Lake Panthers on Tackle Cancer Night.

The Fire played tough from the beginning to the end of the game but lost 3-14 to the Panthers.

Thank you parents and fans that came out to cheer on our players and support Tackle Cancer Night.

Next week the Fire travel to St. Cloud State to play St. Cloud Cathedral.  We will see you on Friday night.  Go Fire!

Posted 9/25/17: Last Friday night the Holy Family Fire football team traveled to Delano to play the Tigers.

The Fire played fast and tough from whistle to whistle but could not overcome the Tigers in a 7-26 loss.

Thank you parents and fans who traveled to cheer on our players.

Next week the Fire will try to Tackle Cancer and Glencoe-Silver Lake.  We will see you on Friday night.  Go Fire!

Posted 9/18/17: Last Friday night was Homecoming and the Holy Family Fire football team hosted the Watertown-Mayer Royals.

The Fire played a complete game from start to finish and defeated the Royals.

Thank you parents, fans and returning alumni who cheered on our players to a 35-14 Homecoming win.

Next week the Fire travel to Delano to play the Tigers.  We will see you in Delano on Friday night.  Go Fire!

Posted 9/11/17: Last Friday night the Holy Family Fire football team traveled to take on the Litchfield Dragons for the second game of the season.

The game was a battle from beginning to end. The Fire defense ended the game, winning for the second week in a row.

Thank you parents and fans who traveled to cheer on our players to a 17-14 victory.

Next week is Homecoming and the Fire play host to Watertown-Mayer. We will see you on Friday night.  Go Fire!

Posted 9/4/17: Last Thursday night the Holy Family Fire football team took on the New London-Spicer Wildcats for our parent’s night and home opener.

It was a back and forth battle ending with a Fire game winning interception.

Thank you parents and fans who cheered on our players to a 38-35 victory.

Posted 11/2/16: Last Tuesday, the Fire traveled to Belle Plaine to take on the Tigers in the first round of the 2016 Section 2AAA Playoffs.  The Fire fought as hard as they have this season and played the Tigers tough all the way to the bitter end as they fell to Belle Plaine 12-0.  The Fire finished the 2016 campaign at 2-7.

Posted 10/24/16: On Wednesday night the Fire traveled to Delano to take on the Tigers in the last game of the regular season.  The Fire played a tough game from beginning to end, but fell just short in the 29-28 loss.  The Fire finish their 2016 regular season at 2-6.

Tuesday night marks the first round of the 2016 Section Playoffs.  The Fire are set to play the Belle Plaine Tigers at Belle Plaine on Tuesday 10/25 at 7pm.  Thank you for your continued support and Go Fire!

Posted 10/17/16: Last Friday night the Fire played host to the Hutchinson Tigers on Holy Family's Senior Night.  The Fire played well in what was a close and hard fought first half, trailing 21-14 at the end of the second quarter.  The Fire came out of the locker room strong in the third quarter and knotted the game up at 21-21.  Hutchinson was able to withstand this wave of momentum, however, and pulled away late for the 41-21 victory.  The Fire are now 2-5 on the season.

This week, the Fire are gearing up for their last game of the 2016 regular season at Delano on Wednesday 10/19.  As always, thank you for your support and Go Fire!

Posted 10/10/16: Last Friday night the Fire went on the road to take on the Watertown-Mayer Royals.  The Fire played a close game through 2 quarters and trailed 7-0 at the half.  The Royals, however, proved to be too much for the Fire as Holy Family fell 20-0.  The Fire are now 2-4 on the season.

This Friday night the Fire will host the Hutchinson Tigers on Senior Night in the final home game of the 2016 season.  Again, thank you for your continued support and Go Fire!

Posted 10/3/16: The Fire kicked off the second half of the 2016 season in Litchfield on Saturday afternoon.  It was a hard fought game, but we ultimately fell short in our 49-27 loss.  We are now 2-3 on the year.

This week, the Fire will hit the road again to take on the Watertown-Mayer Royals.  Thank you for your support and Go Fire!

Posted 9/27/16:  Axel Ruschmeyer was picked as a finalist for the Star Tribune/MN Football Hub Defensive Player of the Week for his performance against Glencoe-Silver Lake.  Congrats!

Posted 9/26/16: Last week the Fire hosted the Glencoe-Silver Lake Panthers for Homecoming 2016.  The Fire started out fast, jumping out to an early 13-0 lead.  After a 13-13 tie at the half, the Fire took the lead in the second half and never looked back, winning 19-13.  The Fire are now 2-2 at the midpoint of the 2016 Season.

Next week, the Fire will head to Litchfield to take on the Dragons on Saturday at 1:30pm.  As always, thank you for your support and Go Fire!

Posted 9/19/16: The Fire traveled to Dassel-Cokato to take on the Chargers last Friday night.  The Fire played very well and kept it close for most of the game, but eventually fell to the Chargers 35-13.  The Fire are now 1-2 on the season.

Posted 9/6/16: Welcome back!

The Fire opened up their 2016 campaign last Thursday night in Victoria against the Saint Cloud Cathedral Crusaders.  After a scoring drive on the Fire's first series of the game, the contest quickly morphed into a defensive struggle and a test of will.  The Fire took a 6-0 lead into the locker room at halftime and added a field goal to their lead in the second half ultimately battling to a 9-7 victory to start the season 1-0.

This week the Fire will square off with Annandale at 7pm on Friday night in Victoria.  Thank you to all the great fans for your support and we can't wait to see you this Friday!  On Fire!

Fall 2012: Former Fire Football Coach Ron Kosteliz has been inducted into the Edina Athletic Hall of Fame for his years of service to that district.  His last coaching stop was at Holy Family, and he has become a permanent fixture on our sidelines since his retirement.  Congratulations Coach Kosteliz!  Click Here and Here for more information.
